The ICANN Board needs to prioritise the objective of its physical meetings.
Are they:
1. to allow for working sessions of its bodies?
2. to outreach to global communities ?
 
Each priority dictates different venue and scale options.
 
If the Board is unable to prioritise and wants both objectives then there 
follows an
implication:
- the full travel funding of the individuals who are members of bodies required 
for ICANN to
fulfil its mission.
We would suggest this primarily includes the Board, GNSO Council, CC Council 
and ALAC. Other
bodies may not require the networking of a physical meeting to function. If 
they do they
should be added to the list.
 
The ICANN Board should authorise the full and equitable travel funding of these 
bodies to
any physical meeting it organises.
