Dear Sirs:

I am sending this email to express my support in favor of Motion 2 which
proposes that ICANN conduct an objective and comprehensive study on the
legitimate abuses and uses of Whois data before making any policy
changes which may permanently alter the structure of the domain name and
Whois system. Monsanto Company often utilizes information obtained from
Whois searches to take action against owners or registrars of certain
URL's which are misusing Monsanto trademarks. Without access to this
information, it would be very difficult for Monsanto to know who has
registered these URL's, track down the perpetrators, and take
appropriate action.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Barb
