.xxx domains
Please do not create .xxx domains. Pornographers will not give up their valuable .com domains. The net effect will be to simply increase pornography sites. Adding meta-tags so filtering software works better is fine and dandy, but the porn business isn't into self-policing and already flaunts any laws that cut too much into their bottom line. It makes no sense to give them their own area (in addition to their current domains, of course) to have a free for all. And visitors to the .xxx domain are going to be responsible for reporting child porn? This is completely unrealistic. It's clear that the impetus for this (besides the porn industry's desire to add more sites) is money on ICM's part.
