My wife and I run a small adult operation, the cost of buying .xxx
names financially will be burdensome and living in the USA where
tomorrow it can become law . We could all be confined to a cyber
ghetto and the drop in income will be financially devastating. Also
.xxx does not prevent children from seeing adult, .kids would prevent
that with a .kids only browser but since there is no money in really
protecting children. Its hit the low hanging fruit the adult
webmasters($75 a domain).
Also why is icann giving one group so much control over a domain? This
is a very slippery slope. Unfortunately the people who will get hurt
are the Mom Pop webmasters who do the right thing, the people with bad
business practices or cheat the consumer or show things that are very
extreme will still continue on, using .com in parts of the world where
governments dont care one way or another. Please do not let .xxx go
thru.
Sincerely Yours
