I had already read about the acbld22.com case and it seems a little
worrying, so I'm contacting the registrant to understand why he didn't
renew and let the domain slip into the redemption period. I'm not sure
I fully understand the Redemption Grace subtleties, but wouldn't that
policy encourage registrars not to properly announce the expiration of
domains in advance so that they can later ask for the (much higher)
redemption fee rather than a simple renewal fee?
