[hans-memorial] Vale Hans

In the very short time I knew Hans, I also knew what a fantastic person he was. 
 I met Hans in Montreal at the ICANN meeting in 2003 and during the week shared 
a wonderful late evening dinner with he and many of the staff at a restaurant 
(that obviously met with Han's approval!).  We had a wonderful evening 
discussing and enjoying fine food and wine, something Han's obviously had a 
passion for.  We talked Australian wine, European wine, style, art, 
architecture, and shared our favorites.  We laughed and talked about everything 
other than work, a truly relaxing evening. 

I am truly saddened by Han's unexpected departure from this life.  Like many 
others who knew him far better than I, I shall remember him with fondness.  I 
will miss the opportunity to share another glass of fine Bordeaux with you.  
Vale, Hans Kraaijenbrink, may your spirit soar.  You will be greatly missed.
