New domains will simply cause
more problems. The only reason why people want new ones to come available, is to
make money off them. Its not because there isn't any left, cause there are still
millions of good names out there. I think they need to work on "law" before they
go and allow even more domains. People who register domains such as Windows98.com
and demand a bunch of money from Microsoft, should lose their name cause that is
simply wrong. When someone registers a good name that is useful but not trademarked,
and registers it just to sell it as a profit should be allowed to keep it because
that is simply an investment. Coming out with new domains will just confuse people
and increase cybersquatting. Have you tried to pre-register a good .web name from
www.webtld.com? Good luck. Most of them are registered by the same guy!
