ICANN should implement a policy similar to Australia's
policy for new domain registrations. In Australia you must have a registered a
business name that is relevant to domain that you want to register, and all domains
are approved by a human. It hasn't stopped people from registering domains that arent
really due to them, but it has at least put in an extra step to steer people away
from such practices as domain squatting/stealing etc. IMO this policy has served
Australia well. If anyones interested the url for there policy is http://www.ina.com.au/register/names.html
