Why do new gtlds have to be designed to be friendly for
companies. These companies are asking special services: trademark protection. Why
shouldn't they accept a .reg after the common gtld in exchange to this protection? You
obviously try to limit the freedom in the internet to a couple of trademark holders!
As you don't include countries, nor classes, this group will be a small group again,
anyway.
The better solution would be:
Everybody registering .air should be aware
that there is no trademark protection there.
Otherwise he must register .air.reg
Everybody
looking for a (trademark protected) airline will automatically search in .air.reg.
If he wants to get general views of 3rd parties, he may choose to search in .air,
instead. Why shouldn't he?
I ask you again: Is .co.uk. unfriendly?
Why should
the Internet be exclusively designed for trademark holders and companies?
You must
give equal rights to everybody in the Internet.
Do so by introducing a limited
.air.reg AND an open .air at the same time.
Thank you!
