Subject: .EU is not a ccTLD

Since .eu is no ccTLD, it is simply a gTLD that should be applied for. If that has been done, it should probably go its way.

I see no reason in establishing an .eu domain, since it can't and it won't replace the numerous national TLDs. (Or, should an European state on the way becoming EU member drop its own national domain? A horror when you think of the struggles upcoming in the new domain name space.)
