Public International Law and the EU |

As a matter of public international law it is clear that
the EU is something more and other than an international institution. The European
Court of Justice has also in several decisions stated this. "EU law" also prevail
over national law, when in conflict. The legal matter aside, many commercial actors
in the internal market favours an .eu address instead of the numerous national addresses
(which often also requires the company to establish a subsidiary in that country
in order to apply for a ccTLD). Georg Panzer
