Subject: Infringing ".name" sufix & potential legal action

Dear ICANN & Global Registry,

We are currently already using the ".name", in its various forms since 1997, and have pending trademarks. We provide private domain names to individuals, who wish a private password protected web site, which is only accesible via our private DNS root servers.

If the ".name" is granted to Global Registry, we will intitiate legal proceedings to stop your use of the ".name" domain suffix.

Note, however we do not have any problems with your other suffixes, such as ".nom", "jina", so we ask that you withdraw only your ".name" suffix from your application.

You will receive a letter from our lawyers next week, explaining our intellectual property rights to you.
