Fully funded, but delivery outsourced |

The time is long overdue for the introduction of a personal name registry, but is
this the way it should be done, with the delivery outsourced. The relationship
with IBM would have to be closely managed, although bearing in mind the experience
IBM has in working with NSI and Register.com it probably means they are the worlds
leading organisation in building and co-locating registry services. Surprisingly,
this seems to be the only personal domain application to have raised the funding
that they require, although the cost of it does appear to be high taking about 50%
of the total equity holding. This applicant could benefit from adopting some of
the other best of breed principles such as open registration queues detailed by other
applicants.
