After having to go through the headache of not only finding a name suitable for my small company, but also finding a corresponding (available) TLD, I can honestly say I wish this new naming convention had existed at that time.  If it had, I would have been able to spend more time on the operation of my business instead of wasting so much time trying to find a convoluted derivitive of my company name. With Number.tel's proposal, not only would small businesses be able to register their unique TLD easily, but their potential clients would be able to locate them on the Web easily, (even if they are not registered with a search engine), with only a phone number.  What a great idea!
