Gentlemen:
We are delighted to announce our support for KDDISOL
in its quest to become the registry for two new TLD’s “.biz” and “.home” which, hopefully,
will be awarded to them by your organization. The fact that KDDI has the most
extensive connectivity in the Asia/Pacific region makes them a logical choice to
be the regions first TLD registry. Beyond that, it should be said that they
are one of the companies in the region that ranks high in their commitment to providing
the highest level of customer service. This has been evident during the several
decades of our continuing relationship.
Some of the issues set forth in KDDISOL’s
proposal expose problems and difficulties inherent in the existing Internet system.
We are confident that matters such as those associated with the “digital divide”
could be managed at par if not better by an Asian-based registry than by one located
in the USA or Europe.
We strongly support KDDISOL and recommend your favorable
