pdeblanc, Thank you for bringing up this point.  The Internet offers a wonderful opportunity for developed countries to share in the development of those that are not developed.  I think that we have a responsibility to assist these undeveloped nations.  We could do this by helping them to exploit this great opportunity.  In addition to that, the Internet can connect them to opportunities and income sources abroad. We need to assist them in finding and using the Internet, not work against them by adding unnecessary new competition (new TLDs) that would dilute this great value that they have. Great Point.
