Is ICANN actually doing anything about the Verisign wildcards other than issuing requests which they and the world knows Verisign will ignore?

I know it is a wonderful feeling to be able to go to meetings, drink Latte and exchange important emails with important people - you might even begin to imagine that you are important - but sometimes you have to actually take action.

On the other hand, if you just keep sending the piontless requests, producing waffly statements and scheduling meetings it might just all blow over. That'd be handy wouldn't it.

Steve
