Hello,

I would like to express my objection to the new SiteFinder service deployed by Verisign lately.

The new service is a crude and cynic violation of the spirit behind the Internet as a social phenomenon. In my view, it is a violation of the mandate that verisign has as the registrar of .com and .net addresses as it is an unfair and unreasonable exploitation of its powers.

The affect this change in the way the Internet, in general, and DNS, in particular, behaves (e.g. on spam filtering) is a major cause for concern as well.

In addition, I would like to express the strong resentment toward Verisign and its move. This is a dirty spot in the storyline of Verisign which associates its name and services with greed and exploitation of power.

Sincerely,

Shai Hirsch
