I would like to propose an online poll by ICANN so that everyone surfing the net has a chance to give there input on the sitefinder issue. I myself never got a chance to tell Verisign what I thought. Their redirecting is as annoying as pop-ups and pop-unders, which at least we can somewhat control. If they want to redirect our browsers to sitefinder, we the users should have the option to not be redirected. To me, the error messages are all I want when I am surfing. Maybe the advertisers should be held accountable also just like spam. I think Verisign is just trying to increase revenue from advertisers by forcing consumers to see there ads and links.
Just my opinion but I hope that ICANN can put a stop to this stupidity.
