To whom it May Concern at ICANN,

Please support the "Sponsored TLD Application" for .NYC from Name. Space. In
this time of diminishing civil rights and wartime in the United States it is
more important than ever for ICANN to break with he monopoly model that
causes the hogging of every potential Internet business opportunity for the
purpose of further strengthening the haves over the have-nots. Name.space
has been involved in crucial work for the propagation of truth, culture and
progressive dissent for nearly a decade and we, who are the Internet
consumers and foundation of the Internet need to be considered in your
decision-making. The TLD .NYC should not be made the private property of a
few, but should be opened up to the creativity of the public. Too much
boredom and commercialized claptrap comes from the big media conglomerates,
now its time for ICANN to do something for the people that ICANN and the
Internet serves.
