I am sorry for all those who supports ".tel" but this is as much stupid as if someone wanted to propose ".ftp" TLD. ".tel" has only a meaning as ".air" for Telcos: http://att.tel http://france-telecom.tel http://bt.tel but calling someone on an IP phone with http://12345678.tel is absurd. Telephone is a protocol. http://ibm.com is the site of IBM tel://ibm.com is the way of access to the IMB telephone center. "ibm.tel" would be reducing the access to phone and create an unlimited number of conflicts and confusion. It is also an old system (numeric numbers) maintained on the internet. And a source of unlimited legal conflicts: who owns the telephone number: the company,the employe, the mothe, the father, etc.              Jefsey Morfin UTEL
