with you that the Sponsoring Organization should represent “all financial and banking
establishments in all countries”.
As a matter of fact and as stated in its application,
the aim of the AMB is to support the foundation of an association (the Sponsoring
Organization) in which the professionals of the world wide financial sector would
be duly represented.
The AMB would strongly favor the commitment of large recognized
organizations such as SWIFT.
If AMB’s application is accepted by ICANN, the financial
sector will have the mechanism to establish a permanent organization for the implementation
of its own top level domain.
