Re: [alac-admin] Re: [alac] Welcome letter to new ALSes
To: Wendy Seltzer <wendy@xxxxxxxxxxx>Subject: Re: [alac-admin] Re: [alac] Welcome letter to new ALSesFrom: ICANN At-Large - Denise Michel <michel@xxxxxxxxx>Date: Tue, 25 Apr 2006 14:45:28 -0700 As you may recall, the ALAC created the ALS email list as an additional
way to communicate with groups that have been certified as At-Large
Structures or that have pending ALS applications. It has proved useful
in addressing ALS-specific tasks such as recommending NomCom delegates
and forming RALOs. The ALAC found that Danny Younger's "America@Large"
did not meet the criteria for ALS certification so he was not added to
the list. If you want to make this happen, convince your ALAC
colleagues that rejected ALS applicants/Danny Younger should be added to
this list.

As I raised in February, Danny Younger has asked to be added as the
representative of America@Large. If he has not yet been added, please
send me and him the specific explanation what should be done to make
that happen.
