I'm not misquoting you, or trying to misquote you. I'm not saying that's what 
you said word for word. I'm saying that's what I understood you to be saying 
(i.e. that other SGs might donate, but yours couldn't or wouldn't (whatever the 
reason)).

So I am reacting to that, and suggesting that the underlying idea is good 
(donating slots) but that it should be done in a way that everyone contributes, 
not single groups.

I don't think there's any reason for you to take offense at my reaction, but 
apologize non the less if I have caused you to take offense. It was not my 
intention. I am just saying I think it is unfair to ask some groups to do what 
others cannot do. Maybe I misunderstood and that is not what you are 
suggesting. But I think the important point here is: can the Council as a whole 
step in and donate a slot in cases such as these, and would that be a fair and 
practical way of dealing with issues such as this one?
