Scott,

CORE is a membership association. Each member has 1 vote. The votes of
members is not something which can be aggregated like equity in a
stock corporation.

There exists a form of interest in an entity which is capable of
aggregation, and a form of interest in an entity which is not. If you,
or anyone, could point to resources that explain how treating these
indistinguishably leads to correct outcomes for each, I'd be obliged.
