perhaps.  but that is not what i gather others are saying.  so i am asking 
questions to try and understand where the lines are drawn and what people 
really care about.

the idea of no transfer was not enough and it seems some notion of complete 
control is what some are drawing the line at.  i am trying to understand what 
people mean by that.

my main point is to try and understand the compromise point (what i think we 
tried to do, so far unsuccessfully, with CAM) and so i am asking question to 
see if there really is one.
