Re: [npoc-voice] Fwd: [AFRINIC-announce] Register Now for the Africa Internet Summit in Djibouti, 25 May to 6 June 2014
Dear Marie-laire and the team. Hope all is well, I grab this opportunity to thank you for a good teamwork and also notify you that I have successfully registered at said event (Invitation attached). As I have mentioned earlier I work on 100% voluntary basis at Community Resource Center sensitizing youth and elderly women on internet usage and offering IT Essentials via assistance from Cisco Academy, the project has been sponsored by the UN Habitat through UN Youth Fund call for proposal 2009/2010. For this matter it proves very difficult for me to cater for travel and stay expenses to the summit. On this ground I kindly request any able Good Samaritan or charity organization out there to assist and enable me to participate in this worthwhile event. I thank you in advance as I remain yours sincerely; James Njoroge Gitau KASWESHA Community Resource Center Nairobi Kenya On Wed, Apr 16, 2014 at 11:23 AM, <mlemineur@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > Dear Olivié, > > I totally agree with you that NPOC needs to support its African members > this is why, among other things, I always try to forward pertinent > information to NPOC voice list when I spot opportunities. > > I am sorry to hear that the deadline for fellowships has passed in this > case.
