Why can't such a group file an objection through At-Large (as we have begun discussing)? A separate objector is not needed. The part of Independent Objector that I have a problem with is "Independent". There needs to be a "somebody" who takes responsibility for this objection - who can say they are allegedly harmed by this gltld's creation. Creating an "independent" objector gives enormous power to a new office that is ripe for abuse as it is "independent" of any accountability.
