Re: [soac-newgtldapsup-wg] The CMR Team
My understanding (although I understand there is a competing version) is that your name was suggested. But on the meeting record, Elaine was written instead of Alain, and there was a then a suggestion that Elaine might have a conflict. Am I to interpret you message below in such a way that you think I am conflicted in volunteering to be on the CMR team? I'm quite puzzled? But indeed I will carefully consider any possible conflict I did not think of... of course, if any NPOC member applied for financial or other support, I would have to opt out of any discussion related to such an application.AlainOn Mon, Apr 23, 2012 at 7:10 PM, Cintra Sooknanan <<mailto:cintra.sooknanan@xxxxxxxxx>cintra.sooknanan@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:Hi Elaine, This seems to be one big misunderstanding. This was my point, I thought the suggestion on the call was for Alain not you (Elaine). I have no idea what a CRM even is, let alone expressed any interest in participating. Please don't toss around "conflicted" so carelessly.Furthermore I believe anyone that challenged my ability to participate in anything owes me an apology, considering there has been zero direct communication with me on this topic.ElaineOn Apr 23, 2012, at 3:41 PM, Avri Doria <<mailto:avri@xxxxxxx>avri@xxxxxxx> wrote:> > Has Elaine indicated she its conflicted under the rules we are using? > Or was she just challenged doughboy a chance to reply? >> I guess I better check on whether I or any of the rest of us far into that category.> > avri > >> Carlton Samuels <<mailto:carlton.samuels@xxxxxxxxx>carlton.samuels@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:> >> Dear Colleagues: >> On last Friday's JAS call and with respect to the members of this team, >> I >> proposed that the small team we raised to work with Staff and the Board >> on >> details of SARP be co-opted to the core with additional few others.
