If a company is in business using .com and let's assume they are trademarked under a dictionary word especially, under no circumstances should they have rights to .net .org or any new tld's otherwise there is no point in expanding the domain space. Demands by companies or individuals to have all gTLD's is anti-competitive and rooted in protectionism
