10% is still too high |

Having 10% as the minimium
means that there is at most 10 candidates for any region, which considering the potential
diversity within a region is far too small. Having only 10 choices means that only
widely known personalities will have a chance to stand for election.
Even if you are allowed to support more than 1 self-nomination,
the 10% minimum means only popular (or notorious) people will get in. I would much
rather see the election of technologically skilled people (those who have helped
build the internet) rather than CEOs, speech-makers and book-writers.
