Sir I would have to disagree with you...Afilias model is inefficent...It is based
on the CORE model...How many CORE registrars do you see doing well...They all have
non-compete clauses so they don't directly compete with other (spread the wealth)...How
is that supposed to create competition and innovation??? Also you have to pay
money to join the club....and who owns the "database" right now whereby everyone
must pay $6 too (NSI)...Who will everyone be loyal too??? This type of loyalty
breeds inefficiency and complacency.I am not a fan of NSI, however the way you
make this 800 pound gorilla behave(provide better customer service, etc), is to pit
it up against raw competition (IOD)...Not by creating a utopian society where everyone
gets a piece, for what is it that makes a company driven....You get my point...
