Thank you for your comment. I must admit no to be familiar with "tm" tradmarks, but I have registered several international "reg" trademarks and there the system I proposed would work perfectly well. Already now the research for existing "reg" trademarks is done to a great extend via Internet. You can only register an expression in "reg", if it is not a simple or a combination of simple, used words. You lose your trademark, if within 3 years you sell nothing with your registered name on it corresponding to the class/es which you registered. These are clear rules and if they are don't apply in "tm", than it might be better just to add two new trademark gtld: .reg and .1 ("dot one" - for trademarks like COca Cola)) Thank you.
