I completely agree with you. I've had a great experience with .tv. Further the consortium is world class. The whole sale price is extremely compelling.
I don't think that ICANN should enrich Network Solutions again. Nor should they award it to CORE- who already corner a large portion of the market. I think they should award it to the most robust registry.
And some one with a proven track record.
I heard about the Tuvalu induction into the UN-- thats stunning stuff and cheers to dotTV for providing much needed income to the little island nation.

ICANN should favor this consortium for their extremely compelling application.
