Thanks for answering my question Olga. I suggest we change "There
should be a specific financial sponsorship program to ensure a cost
neutral exercise (i.e. sponsors would be allowed to post their marks on
associated workshop materials for their financial support)." to "There
should be a specific financial sponsorship program to ensure a cost
neutral exercise (i.e. sponsors would be allowed to have their logos
displayed on associated workshop materials for their financial support).
"

My compliments on all the work on this. Sorry I was unable to make the
call today.
Section 2.2.1 starts off with "The Committee should be responsible for
developing various tutorial modules that could be inserted as workshops
into existing regional meetings as well as conducted as online
interactive workshops where these could be provided effectively." Is
the thinking that the committee should/would actually develop the
tutorial modules. It seems to me that that would be a very time
consuming task. Would the committee really be able to do that? I think
it would be more realistic to ask the committee to facilitate or
coordinate development.
In my understanding the idea behind this is to develop multimedia
materials that could be available before or after the workshop including
some useful presentations that were done during it.
For example if there are introductory workshops, then a video can be
made with the presentations in a shorter and more dynamic version in
order to be shared among different communities. Also it is not very
difficult to add captioning and it can be used in several languages.
Considering your comment we could change the language in the document
like " Developing, coordinating or facilitating the creation of tutorial
modules...."
In Section 2.2.2, the fourth sentence of the first paragraph
says, "There should be a specific financial sponsorship program to
ensure a cost neutral exercise (i.e. sponsors would be allowed to post
their marks on associated workshop materials for their financial
support)." What does it mean "to post their marks"?
Post marks means that the logos of the sponsors can be added to the
teaching materials, signs and other elements that are used in the
training.
Please if you can suggest a better language to explain this idea in
English.
