Thanks Jon.

Considering what we recommended to the Board, it may make sense for us
to add the following in the Bylaws changes regarding thresholds: "GNSO
Council Chair - elected by 60% of both houses". But, because two
constituencies opposed it, it is not as clear that we should add the
following: "[If no one is elected Chair, the Council-level Nominating
Committee Appointee shall serve as a non-voting Chair of Council.]"
This still remains an action item for the Council to complete.

Regarding election of GNSO Council Vice Chairs, was there consensus on
this: "If the Council Chair is elected from one of the houses, however,
then the Council-level Nominating Committee Appointee shall serve as one
of the Vice Chairs in lieu of the Vice Chair from the house of the
elected Chair. If the Chair is elected from one of the houses, that
person shall retain his/her vote in that house."? If so, this should
probably be included somewhere in the Bylaws or Rules. The question
still remains as to whether we should add voting thresholds for House
vice chair elections or leave it up to the Houses to deal with this.
