Dear all, here is the updated interim report. I have received comments from
Steve Metaliz, Robert Hutchinson, Owen Smigelzki, Jim Galvin, and Jeremy
Hitchcock. There are two types of comments: 1) editorial and 2) substantial
comments.

Most of the comments are editorial, and I have included the editorial comments
into the document. There are two sets of substantial comments: one from Jeremy,
and one from Robert that I don't think the WG discussed these before. I
recommend we discuss these in our next call and then we can make a decision
whether and how to include them.

Also per action item from the last meeting, I added a section "Deficiencies of
the WHOIS protocol", and quoted RFC 3912.

Attached are four documents:

1) Draft_IRD-WG_interim_report_10293pm.doc contains the latest interium report.
2) Red-line changes.docx contains all the changes made this report from the
October 20's version in redline.
3) IRD_Interim_Report_-_Hutchinson_updates.docx contains the requested language
from Robert Hutchinson to the report.
4) Jeremy's edit.docx contains the requested language from Jeremy.

Let me know if I miss anything.
