Using IPs is not a very good idea. I can hardly remember
my own, let alone the ones I need to access altavista, icann, jennicam :-) With
the scarcety of IPs, which is much more real than that of domain names, a lot of
domains are multiple hosted on one and the same IP. Some servers have hundreds on
just one IP. These would then have to be accessed by very long URLs... Same story
for mail. I was not asking people to take 63 letter names. It is not necessary.
There are very many 4 and (of course) much and much more 5, 6, 7 letter names available,
two and three syllable names, in .net and .org. All very nobledot.com's. Who wants
to have an upstart .biz then?
