During the self-nom phase, members will be asked to answer those very questions.. what does qualify a nominee to be a member of the board.  That's the whole point of the self-nom process, really.       It's also the problem.. I doubt that under the current proposed 10% threshhold, that enough people will agree on any one person to put any competition on the ballot against the NOMCOM candidates.       The NOMCOM candidates may very well be ideal for the post.. but I'm not holding my breath.
