I particularly like .news and feel that this TLD could become a very valuable resource. I sincerely hope that this is one of the new TLDs that is chosen. I've done an initial review of the Eastcom application and it seems like they have done a good job. I also think it would be great to have a registry based in China, since the Internet truly is a global medium.
