Subject: Airport Support for the ".air" Proposal

On behalf of McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, I would like to express strong support for the ".air" proposal. 

The ".air" domain designation will be vital, particularly as the air transportation industry (in all its related facets) continues its unprecedented growth in the years ahead.  As the global economy becomes increasingly e-business based, it will be imperative that all parties can easily identify, contact and transact with the desired industry entity(ies). 

As an airport that has given considerable focus over the years to the benefits of advancing information technology, it seems clearly evident that the creation of the ".air" domain will greatly enhance the level of service and safety for all of those directly involved in and being served by the aviation industry, on a world-wide basis.  We look forward to the expeditious approval and implementation of the ".air" domain.
