     We welcome the concept of a "dot-Air" Internet domain name that SITA is intending to sponsor.

We represent Air Namibia (Pty)Limited, the national carrier for the Republic of Namibia
We believe that the dot-Air will provide high value to the air-transport community, and to the air transport industry at large.

Business-to-Business transactions, including the wide-ranging options in electronic procurement today available to air-transportation players will greatly be facilitated through dot-Air.  The dot-Air  will be operated under the guidance of the industry and will help players and partners to implement the effective e-business solutions required today more than ever. 

In my capacity of General Manager of Finance of Air Namibia I can only but recommend that the "air" proposal to sponsor the dot-Air domain name be approved by your organisation.
