I support your comment regarding .info. It could be a helpful way to find the person or company you are looking for. The only problem is, that with hundreds or thousands of new gtlds you will be confused with the many results you will get in .info. It does not make sense to introduce such an amount of new gtlds. A solution of a total of about 10 - 20 gtlds, including the existing ones: .com, .net, .org, .edu, .gov, and introducing step by step as new ones: .info, .1, .tm, .sex, .game, .rel (religious contents), .web, .art, .shop, .club, .news, .meet, .cult, .city and .help (red cross, etc.) could make sense. But please: Solve the trademark problems beforehand!
