The reference to national legislation seems to me the only clear point
of contact.
My point is slightly different I think. Unless a court of competent
jurisdiction determines that I have broken the law, then I have not
broken the law. Anyone claiming any different is simply making an
allegation. Allegations are cheap, and should not be part of a process
that demands certainty for applicants and the community.
