Are you proposing we recommend bundled pricing (discounts) for multiple IDN
scripts in cases where the applicant does not have financial need?
Hi Richard,
No. Rather that "qualification" is not a property of a single
application for a single string -- the unit of application that is
appropriate to the pre-IDN applications of 2001 and 2004 new gTLD
rounds. And probably appropriate for the well-capitalized applicants
of the 201x round(s), particularly Verisign with its newTLD goal of
acquiring "com" in all major market areas.
An application, particularly one from "developing countries", may
require several forms of presentation, and that tuple of <applicant,
purpose and set of strings> is the unit to be tested for need.
Eric
