TWO
MODELS OF "FAIRNESS" REPRESENTED ON ICANN'S PUBLIC
COMMENT MESSAGE BOARD:
MODEL
# 1: Give John the .web his work and foresight have landed him.
MODEL # 2:
Eradicate John's .web to be fair to Phil who will email his friends news of the .web
that ICANN had so thoughtfully freed up for him. (How nice to see that they stand
for fairness.)
************************************************************
MY
VOTE:
No doubt many here believe Model # 2 is the fairest model. These people
have an interesting world philosophy and sense of personal liberty.
To me it is
clear. Model # 1 above is the ONLY fair model.
Reward John for his foresight
and devotion to securing a better life for himself by giving him the .web.
In
all honesty, the .web is ALREADY legally and morally John's. It was his the moment
he registered it. If Phil winds up with it, it is only because someone TOOK it from
John.
