Again we are in agreement.1) I purposedly used
"abc" as something neutral
also because even "abc" could be registered
with something else which would be your own IP.
2) I said sell it back to underline
that what you own is the concept. If I was registering as 410.1 in this forum you
could complain and if I was giving 410.1 up, I would be actually giving you back
your indentity. My point is that domain names belongs to the real world and that
existing rules do not protect innovative uses of domain names what should be our
common interest.
3) I do not understdand your point about books.com.
What I
say is that if you had registered moer than 100 domain names of the form of http://history-books.com,
http://political-books.uk, http://prayer.books.fr, you would be entitled to protect
the public recognition of your sites in having the exclusive right to register http://xxxxx-books.sys.
And to simplify the life of the users with a stable easy to remember as yours format.
My
point is only towards large organizations or projects. By example I own 2000 domain
names, none I wish to sell! I have a technology for their management. The prospects
and coopetition I have show me that this is a comming technical and e-commerce direction.
