"To give .biz, .store, .info domains to the owners of the corresponding domains in .com, .net, or .org destroys the very reasoning behind introducing new TLDs into the Internet root. You then might as well not open new TLDs if there is redundancy." Well how about making it impossible to hold e.g. both .com and .biz? That would be a good idea then? (It would save the small businesses for having to bring extra money to the new registrars and hosting companies as well.) However, this will not happen. A lot of duplication will occur in new gTLDs, just like we already have that with people owning both .com and .net and .org.   Therefore your final statement becomes true. So I can safely draw the conclusion you are against new TLDs after all.
