support, concerns echoed, what about complimentary medicine? |

As a doctor,
health writer/editor and occasional patient, I am in support of moves to highlight
sites whose info is reliable, and strongly support the .health proposal. However,
I am concerned about the lack of detail in the proposal on the policy-making procedure
and the criteria for admission. This should be available for the second phase of
public comment, as will details of proposed measures to reduce political influence
and conflicts (as detailed in earlier postings) In particular, will sites that
cover complimentary/alternative medicine be included and how will WHO rate such sites
when scientific evidence is scarce? Dr Kelly Morris
