I would like to pipe into the discussion to highlight the fact that dotTV is perhaps the only one else (leaving aside NSI) with registry experience. They know better than most the costs involved.

I do find your question regarding- costs as a percentage of turnover- to be rather interesting. But I do ask- how else would you forecast costs? In my glorious years as a budding entrepreneur after business school I attempted many a business plan- my experience is that most forecasts are worth not the paper they are written on. Since the folk at dotTV are the ones in the business of running a registry- they would be closest to their expected costs.

I would not bet my life on any one's projections.
